Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef or turkey 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained 1 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 8 ounces Reduced Carb Elbows (4 cups cooked) Grated Cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, stirring to break up meat; drain off fat. Place cooked beef in slow cooker with remaining ingredients except elbows and cheese. Mix well. Cook on LOW 4 hours.
2. Cook elbows according to package directions; drain. Stir in cooked elbows and cook on LOW 1 hour more. Top each serving with grated cheese, if desired.
NOTE:
: To make this chili on the stovetop, cook elbows; drain. Brown ground beef as in Step 1. Add remaining ingredients except elbows and cheese, and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in elbows. Top each serving with cheese, if desired.
