I agree with Vinston. I was going to start a thread about her even before I saw his. In fact, I logged in just to mention her.

I like that she does not measure things while she's cooking. She just eyeballs things and throws things around. She is sloppy, like me. In fact I have a lot in common with her. In fact, I am married to her.

Some people think that she is too perky to be likeable-- as though she is fake. I don't see her that way. I see her as simply positive, cheerful and happy. That doesn't bother me. I am also positive, cheerful and happy. That is why I married her.

My other girlfriend, however, has complained that sometimes Rachel Ray has a program about eating cheap while on vacation. To prove how one can get by on a lot of many, Rachel Ray only tips the minimum. I can not support that practice. And that is why I had to divorce her.

I do not like the Italian girl with the big toothy smile who is also on the food channel. I forget her name, but I don't like Italians.

She is getting her own talk show, supported by the big O!! I like RR, and, I too like the way she cooks w/o amts. That is the way I cook, that is why I don't bake.
I like the show 30 bucks a day, but I agree about the tip thing. Good service equals good tip. Poor service means poor tip. I don't like the Italian gal either. I do like the show, not sure what it is called. Almost homemade or something like that. She takes store bought stuff, like cookies in a tube, then adds stuff to it, and makes it almost homemade.

I like Rachael Ray..... but some of the words she uses just are a bit too much..... "yummo, spoonula, stoop".... altho she does have some great recipes on there.

I hate when she says EVOO or delish. Sometimes I mute the tv and read the closed captions as her chuckle drives me nuts, too. However, I have done several of her recipes and they are awesome.

When I stared watching her I told hubby she talk to fast & to much. I turned her off. Than I would watch her a little at a time. Really got so I like her I also like her wording eyeballing etc. She used some wording about a boat the other day I had to laugh. ;D I just like watching her more or less to laugh. It makes my day sometimes.
