Haven't tried this recipe yet but thought I'd share it anyway.
Ingredients makes 6 servings *1/4 cup (1/2 stick) light butter *1/4 cup all-purpose flour *1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaporated lowfat 2% milk *1 pkg (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables- prepared according to pkg directions *2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 8 oz. total) cooked and cubed *1 can (14.5 oz.) low sodium fat free chicken broth *1/4 teaspoon onion salt ----------------------------------------------------------------- Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in evaporated milk, stirring contantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Add vegetables, chicken, chicken broth and onion salt. Heat through.
