1 Pk bacon .....You can slice the bacon right thru the package in 1-3 inch sections, then just dump the bacon into a pan and fry until crisp or until desired doneness.
Optional Sliced green pepper (handful) Optional Sliced onion (handful)
if You add Gpepper and onion, when the bacon is just about done...add to the bacon and fry a bit to make them tender.
Drain grease.
add 1 Can CHEAP baked beans
1/2 Cup or so brown sugar
stir. You are aiming for a carmel color to the bean sauce. If you don't have a dark carmel color or they are not sweet enough, add more brown sugar.
(best way to tell is by personal taste..taste the beans while they are cooking)
Bring the beans to a bubble....and serve.
Tosh..I swear, that is all I do to the beans..Nothing else. My sister-in-law says that I have a secret ingrediant that I don't share...but really, I don't.
