Here is a recipe for Amish Friendship bread w/o a starter, or a 10 day wait. It really does taste like the 10 day recipes, & alot of people have even said they like it better: AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 1 C. VEGETABLE OIL 1 ½ C. SUGAR 1 TSP. VANILLA 3 LARGE EGGS ½ TSP. SALT 2 TSP. CINNAMON 2 ½ C. FLOUR 1 ¼ C. MILK ½ TSP. BAKING SODA 1 3.4 OZ. BOX INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING 1 ½ TSP. BAKING POWDER 1/3 C. WALNUTS (OPTIONAL) PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES. COMBINE OIL, SUGAR, VANILLA, EGGS, SALT, & CINNAMON IN A LARGE BOWL. ADD FLOUR, MILK, SODA, PUDDING, BAKING POWDER, & WALNUTS, IF DESIRED. MIX WELL. GREASE 2 LARGE LOAF PANS & SPRINKLE WITH A MIXTURE OF SUGAR & CINNAMON. POUR IN BREAD MIXTURE & SPRINKLE ANY LEFTOVER SUGAR MIXTURE ON TOP. BAKE FOR 1 HOUR.
