Chocolate Chip Kahlua Cake
Preheat oven to 350°
1 18¼-ounce package of Devil’s Food Cake mix (Duncan Hines is the brand I prefer) Milk Chocolate cake mix also works well. 1 4 ounce package of instant chocolate pudding mix ¾ cup sour cream ½ cup water ½ cup vegetable oil ½ cup mayonnaise 3 to 4 tablespoons Kahlua 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 4 eggs, whipped 1 cup chocolate chips, any kind, although white chocolate chips are awesome
Spray bundt or tube pan with non-stick spray. In large bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, water, oil, mayonnaise, Kahlua, vanilla and eggs. Mix until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan, bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. Let cake cool for at least five minutes before removing from pan, or after you make the frosting.
FROSTING/GLAZE
In small bowl mix 1 cup of (sifted) confectioners sugar with ¼ cup Kahlua. Should be relatively clear…drizzling with a spoon over the cake. Hic!
